Miltons sterilizing solution. I use to dose the water tanks on the ships I worked on. 1 ltr miltons for around 6000 ltrs on the ship. I generally use about 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup for 130 ltrs. I don't mind if I slightly overdose the tanks as my charcoal filter removes the chlorine.

We happily use sodium percarbonate for the dunny and when the drinking water needs to be sweetened, we tip in a couple of teaspoons of epsons salts. It works a treat, just don't be over generous with it.

Sodium Percarbonate, sodium peroxide and Epsom salts all have a similar effect when overused, rapid weight loss

so just to confirm, this is for a full or partially full tank, not an empty one.
