1200ahr LiFePo4 system for car sound system
Have a go at this 1200 amp hour Lithium system for a sound system in a van in Europe somewhere. 300ahr cells, no apparent strapping and look, there on their side too
Apparently he since uped it to 1500ahr

Personally I don't see why this is remarkable, if it is just a sound system it will never get near out of balance problems due to the lesser amounts of amps going in and out of the battery.
Try cooking, water heating and smoke extraction all at the same time, that is a different load.

I'd imagine this is for one of those audio sound off competitions where sound systems are built into things very loosely termed as motor vehicle and instruments inside measure the sound pressure produced. A strange off spring of the old "who has the loudest stereo" thing from the '80's and 90's that has morphed into a full blown big $$ completion.
The battery itself would see a relatively short term high energy draw and the lithium advantage would be the reduced voltage drop they offer under very high loads, then they would have a steady controlled recharge period that would be far shorter than lead acid batteries so they were ready for the next round of competion. They might only last for a few hundred cycles but that is as long as the vehicle will probably last anyway. There have been instances of vehicle structure failing causing the body work to explode in a shower of shrapnel similar to a very large explosive device being detonated inside. Sound pressure can be extremely destructive if it is reflected rather than absorbed and can actually increases pressure with each reflection

yes, or decrease depending on the phase of the two waves. That's how noise cancelling works; the waves are out of phase and swallow each other.and can actually increases pressure with each reflection
