Fires in the Territory
Heart goes out to those tourism businesses affected by the fires in this heatwave - Kings Canyon Resort got a liitle charred and Ross River Resort has lost a couple of buildings. My brother has done over 30 hours straight on the grader trying to help with the fire near Ross River. If you're travelling in fire season, visit the Northern Australia Fire Information site (NAFI) - and check the fire maps for the region you plan to enter. http://www.firenorth.org.au/nafi2/
