Spanish Mackeral?
Chap from Kingston used to go every winter up to Port Douglas Oooops! I meant Mission Beach! & catch them off the beach in a boat similar to yours Greg!
He used to call them lizards!
His was fibreglass though. Not so noisy with water slapping?
He used to fillet them out & vacuum pack it in feed sizes & freeze it to bring home.
OK, now be honest!!! Who hooked it? Nan or yourself? I said be honest!!!
