Has anyone experienced the trailer breakaway brake system failing to the point of the trailer brakes intermittently applying.
I have a wifi connection system that has been operating fine until I slowed pulling into Port Kenny.
Felt them dragging on take off, sort of like pulsing.
Disconnected the wifi system and connected physical trailer plug.
Continued on all seemed fine for a while till arriving in Elliston when a at slow speed could feel dragging again.
So took a punt and disconnected the blue wire.
All appeared fine for now.

Still some more testing to be done.Brucie2 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 8:57 pm wifi? Oh No!!
I would never use WiFi for anything vital like brakes. There is just so many things that can interfere with the 'signal'.
Just recently I know of someone who tried setting up WiFi cameras on a houseboat but has now bought long cables to wire directly.
Is the 'pulsing' happening in sync with turning lights by any chance? Bad earth?
No bad earths all been rectified by Old Bus sparky mate, he added 6 extra earths when he fixed up my lights and dash issue.
Even felt dragging with normal cable, so disconnected blue wire.
So some testing to be done in Whyalla tomorrow.
Cheers

Agree with Brucie, wifi controls on vehicles are unsafe, all you need is have some other form of wifi operating on or near the same frequency near you as you're driving along and it could set of the system.
