I don't think so. Of course not everyone is happy with current directions either.

Re: CMCA new
We're still members think our $44 a year is little to pay for the work the CMCA does endeavouring to improve conditions for all RV travellers.
I'm not interested in the politics or the running of it & do not bother very often with the forum or FB page, it is to limited to the content that can be posted & discussed, certainly not the friendly smaller club that we joined many years ago.
Caravan members still trying to get equal footing & the right to vote in elections.

Re: CMCA news?
I was a refugee from the old CMCA Forum when it was locked down & the brou-haha started. (I don't think I posted anything to cause that.)
Went back once or twice after the Keith Moxham election (for which I actively campaigned at the Boonah Rally — the first and last such I attended).
Forum had been emasculated. No fun, no banter.
That's why I'm still here.
My CMCA membership is almost redundant. After a bad experience with KTA over a major get-me-home claim (from WA, broken leg), we now insure through the Winnebago/Avida RV Club's insurance broker. Have a friendly & consistent relationship with the claims/secretary lady. Unlike KTA, where you'd get a different girl every time you called, and have to retell your story every time.
By comparison, Ronda calls me to remind me to update insurance valuations every two years.

Re: CMCA news?
You know...
Some people here are also on CMCA and AMH forums.
So, when throwing about generic insults, just remember that you're applying it to people here too.
BTW, it was about 10 years ago when CMCA closed down it's forum. A lot of water is under the bridge since then.

Re: CMCA news?
Jon the CMCA did have a forum on their web site last time I looked
didn't know that it had been closed, probably when they started the FB page.

Re: CMCA news?
One (of many) problems I experienced with the CMCA in the now dim & distant past was that criticism of the organisation was often taken by members as criticism of themselves. It is an organisation I have had nothing to do with for a number of years now. I hope it is no longer as toxic as it once was, but even if it is saying so does not label those who are members similarly. They may or may not be, but membership alone does not qualify them . I've even learned to no longer feel the need to react to the not uncommon member trait of CMCA 'proselytising' when it pops up from time to time.
