Out & About

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Out & About

Post by Greynomad »

Family is visiting from Melbourne for the first time since April… 😀 Son-&-Heir, his partner & her parents.
Went wine-tasting (natch!) & lunched at Cofield’s new restaurant.
Also visited Pfeiffers where they advertise “pfine wines for pfine people”… bought some Durif (hi T1😁) & some ‘Pfeiffers Pfizz’ sparkling white.

Noticed a sign on the wall of the tasting room:

In my defence, I was having a SCAN at the time… 😀

Family departed at 0955 today. Really enjoyed having them here, but we both slumped into our big lounge chairs and breathed out. 😁
Then set to and did two loads of washing (bedsheets & towels, mainly.) and lots of vacuuming.
Had lunch, now time for today’s SCAN. 😊

Ray that's a regular event at my home, especially towels when the lads decide to have a shower/bath at Nans & they only live 2 houses away   we had the 4 of them here today & then the 24 yrs old arrived to work/repair broken axle on his Landcruiser, short time later his sister & boyfriend arrive, never a dull moment, think I need to teach the lot of them how to wash glasses & cups. :D
The repair didn't get completed & he had to go off to his 2nd job at the servo, so probably have them all back tomorrow including his dad that's if the weather isn't good for kite surfing foiling.
