Vale David Gulpilil

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Sad, cancer got him at only 68 yrs of age. I hope he finds peace with his country and becomes a part of the indigenous story culture so he lives on as the great bridge between indigenous and non indigenous folk in the acting world on the big screen.
RIP David Dalaithngu, the actor the world knew as David Gupilil

Watched the Biography that he made not long before he died. When I saw him at age 66 I realised I had seen him and his carer many times at The Murray Bridge shopping centre, just didn't recognise him, but I do remember seeing people getting their photo with him and seeing that on the doco I immediately related to all the times I'd seen them there.
The tobacco industry has a lot to answer for, but of course they never will .....
