Fresh Food People?

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Fresh Food People?

Post by Greynomad »

Bought some Coriander at a Major Supermarket.
It’s sold in a pot, in soil. Looked great.
Pot was duly watered… and this is what it looks like after three days…

If it looked great when you bought it and now it is in your care it looks like that, I don't think you can blame the fresh food people ;) Maybe try tap water next time Ray, I think it's mainly citrus trees that like it after it's passed through the kidneys

Just chuck it on the brekky, and tell Joy it's wilted spinach.
If you are lucky, she won't catch on.

I’m hurt! :(
It was pure, unadulterated rainwater from our tank.
We don’t even have a lemon tree, so I have to use the room with the porcelain lounge chair. :D

Ahh, there is the problem. The poor thing is suffering from shock and starvation. Lacking all the manufactured artificial chemicals and things that the food companies put in their products and 'bottled juices'.

It needs to be weened slowly off the fertilizers and secret grow and look green chemicals.

Jon,
I suspect you’re right… when the droopy coriander went to the Great Garden in the Sky we discovered the ‘soil’ was simply a medium to hold the roots, no actual dirt in it!
It looked like soil but was just granulated ‘stuff’. A fair amount of what looked like polystyrene beads, some shiny gold-coloured bits and what I think was grain-sized bits of recycled black plastic.
Next time we’ll re-pot the coriander immediately … using real dirt.
Regards & God bless,
Ray
