Diahatsu parts

Anyone know places where I can possibly source gearbox (transfer) parts for a Daihatsu Feroza. The old girl is to good to throw away.

There was a place in sydney called Diaparts but a Google search didn't list them, but it did list a heap of others in Aust, might be worth an email to each of them.

Thank you gentlemen for the links. I have emailed 2 seperate suppliers, including the one recommended in Melbourne. I need one small gear that fits in the transfer case. One company said they could not get it however supplied the part number. The second site, in Victoria that has everthing? Well I sent and email listing the part number and describing. The response was rather quick. " We can supply a 4 speed gearbox $1250 + $400 fitting. Warranty 3 months. That is wreckers price and warranty. (also should be 5 speed).

So where I am at is trying to find a transfer case that is whole or damaged that I can source the part from. Any knowledge? :D (not really) :)

appart from contacting the first place and asking them if they have any leads to a parts supplier you are stuck with trying to source another transfer box. Have you tried simply googling the part number?

Yes, it came up with a russian site that had a japanese listing that does not sell to here. Also it was listed at 4,500 Yuan, for a small 2" by 1/4" cog.

So thats why, I need to find someone wrecking a feroza and scavage the cog.

Is that part only in the Feroza & is it in all models? (years)
Would think there'd be more than one in a car yard or two going cheap up around Harvey Bay etc.
