Hello all. I have used a couple of calenders on my computer, but have lost both for some unknown reason, along with all my entries.
What free calenders do you recommend for download? I need nothing fancy, just a basic set up that I can fill in, and where necessary have it repeat events on certain days of the month.
Thanks in anticipation.
John

Can find the EDIT button to correct the spelling, but you get the idea.

John, I use the one on my Samsung phone. You can set an event up to 2 years ahead. Can create recurring for day, week, fortnight , month or year ahead. Or set a particular number of days ahead.
What type of system on 'puter, someone will know.

I use the app called. Hang on your wall calendar. Requires an annual subscription.
Great thing about it is, any one at home can edit it.

iPhones have a calendar as part of the system.
Same with MacBook laptops and iMac desktop computers.

(I don’t have an iPad, but I assume it’s part of the system there, too.)
No extra cost, no subscription.
I would have thought Windoze has the same…
My iPhone calendar is my VID: Very Important Diary. I consult it daily for medical appointments, treatment times, social occasions, birthdays etc. If it’s not in my diary, it doesn’t happen!

Re: Calender creator for peersonal use.
iPhone/Apple calendar, like just about every other one mentioned here, has a ‘REPEAT’ button that you can set for weekly, monthly, yearly recurrence, or odd repeats like every month on the second Monday, every seven weeks, 22 days hence, etc.
If you list a person’s DoB in your Contacts, Apple’s calendar will alert you every year (with their age) and you can set the alerts for a specific period in advance of the day to allow you to send them a card/present.
Download and explore!

I think it's Google calendar we both use on our phones and computers, you can chose to make the calendar on every device on the network update with a single entry every time they sync, or you can isolate any one of the calendars to avoid getting unwanted alarms about things that are not important to you .....
