🔥 This afternoon Bailey was responded to a motorhome on the Princes Highway.
While the customer was driving, the dual Lithium batteries that power the living compartment ignited.
Thankfully the customer was able to pull safely off the highway and ring 000. Fire brigade attended and was able to extinguish the fire before the motorhome became fully engulfed 🔥

Need information regarding the brand of lithium batteries. When "dual lithium batteries" was mentioned, I'm guessing drop in batteries from Evil Bay or the like, installed by someone clueless. Hopefully it wasn't the owner who installed them, so they have someone to turn to regarding the installation and what was done wrong to cause the fire .....

Found it on Google, fire was in the Bateman's Bay area, NSW South Coast. A Mercedes Conquest.

For a lithium fire, it looks very meek.

I wonder if it was something else?
