Qld rego.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

If it's just a renewal you can do it online. We do all of ours that way. Have you received the renewal notice?
It should have all the details on it.

In Vic. we normally get the renewal 6 or 7 weeks before it's due Norman.

I don't recall how far in advance the notice comes but it must be soon. The website is http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au (don't you love the way we Aussies shorten everything?) but you need your Customer Reference Number which is on the renewal form. You can also pay by phone with credit card only by calling 13 23 90 but you probably need to know the amount you are paying etc. Could be worth the phone call just to see how far you can get though.

Do you have last year's renewal notice? I just checked one of ours and the Customer Reference Number is the same on both. I have a feeling that once you get past that step, the amount etc comes up automatically and you can choose 6 or 12 months. Worth a try.

Norman, Make sure you pay before it is due. They charge an extra $40 if it is late.

It depends whether it is registered as a heavy vehicle (over 4.5t) Norman. If it is, I believe you can now have the annual vehicle inspection done interstate but I would contact them to confirm how.
