Well my head is hurting!
Since I've been up here in Nth Qld I've had to change from Optus to Telstra. (Very poor reception/speed)
Then Iget a message from Telstra to tell me my phone can't connect to 000 if Telstrahas an outage so the will cut off EVERYTHING to my phone on 27th of Nov. Talk, chat. Sms, txt, internet, data .....
So got anew phone ....
Oldlaptop was still slow as so new laptop.
So now I'm running back & forthbetween 4 units to find all my original stuff like manuals, photos, contacts, email addresses, facebook chat mates etc.
Did Isay my head hurts? & my eyes!!!

We have used Starlink for a few years, first in the van and then the house. Telstra was slow and dropping out.
Problem with Starlink now is not being able to get replies when you have problems they have dropped the ball all round.

Re: New phone & computer
Thought about Starlink but can you take it with you into a shopping centre & get calls while you're in there? lol
Caneland shopping centre is so big I need to be able the send an SOS when I get lost!!
If I was still inclined to travel the country I'd be all over it!!

Re: New phone & computer
Bruce, starlink gives you internet access.
The phone still needs a sim/account to connect to the phone system.
So when at home, you can use the phone 4/5g service or VoIP. Phone over internet via Starlink.
When in town, use 4/5G
