News on Tanks - not good

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

News on Tanks - not good

Post by Greynomad »

At his request, I’m posting this info on Tanks (Keith Morris).
He was admitted to Northam Hospital last week with a fractured T8 vertebra, after a similar problem with his T7 a couple of years back.
He is once again in constant pain while also struggling with his breathing, needing the constant accompaniment of an oxygen concentrator.
He is unable to move further within his bed.
He did not sound well during our conversation today, with regular pauses for air.
It is likely Keith will remain in hospital for quite some time given the fractured vertebra added to his other problems.
He did not mention if he has phone access to the forum, and during our visits with him he used only his laptop, so I assume not.
Northam Hospital has but one ward, so if members are of a mind to send him a card, it will definitely reach him.
I’m sure we all wish him well and a speedy recovery, no matter how long it takes.
🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏
Regards & God bless,
Ray

That’s not good to hear, particularly at this time of year. Please pass along our best wishes should someone be in touch with him and tell him we have him in our thoughts.
Cheers

Not a good way to spend Christmas Keith, I can think of better ways to have pretty women looking after you day and night ..... but then, that won't be covered by medicare

Our thoughts are with you Keith, lay back and relax and give things time to heal ....

Hey tanks, did Noggins manage to get your computer back to you ok? I asked Ray to do the notice on here as he is better at words :D No need to rush the recovering as those nasty fires are out and about so an air conned room is better for you with single females to wait on you hand and foot so lay back take your meds and Mrs Brown will not be good for you this week as jolly laughter does not do the back any good. Take care M8 xx

Oh Tanks,
I hope that you are getting to read these posts. Sorry to read that you are in so much pain, but as Dot says "how many single ladies taking care of you will keep you happy?"

Hope you are feeling so much better every day xxxxxx

I have received an SMS from Tanks. He does have his laptop, but it is still difficult for him to get into a position to use it. He does appreciate everyone's thoughts and well wishes. He will get back on the forum when he is able.
