How do you learn to so NO......

Well had the craft market at the weekend, went well sold a few things so have some pocket money for our trip, said that was it with the beading now until Xmas happy with that decision, but you guessed it, can you make a blue one, can you make me 2 more like that one can I have that in read, can you make some black ones etc.etc.etc.. you get the picture so guess what I am once again in the bead room and will be there for another day or two should be starting to think about getting ready to go away... I really must learn to say NO... Off to Melb. tomorrow for the big heart check up on Thursday so all will be revealed what the problem is, fingers crossed its not much and we can hit the road as planned... Gotta go work to do...

Good luck with the doc, Ros. Hope you get the answers you want. As for not being able to say "no", just think about the little extras you will be able to afford when you are on your trip with that extra money. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Once on the road if you make them outside you WILL be able to charge double and they will seel as you make them.

OH another tonne added to the van me thinks.

Ros, I do hope the heartman give you good news.
Can I suggest that you work out a smaller beading kit for travelling? Even in the most exciting places, there are nights when you just go looking for something to keep the fingers and brain busy. Those beautiful beads would sell easily and as you sell a few, you can then buy more beads. I have found mostly that beads are available in most big towns, so you can restock fairly easily.

Hi Deborah... Yes sort of got good new from Heart man have been given the OK to travel got to go see him again just before we go when I get the full results.... Decision made I am taking a few beads with me just in case I find the time...not sure if I will put them out to sell, I am sending a few to my daughter in Melbourne who is selling them for me on her little on-line craft business site. Good for you Ros, next time someone springs a request on you, and you dont really want to, double the price.
If they really want it, they will pay, and you have the extra for the inconvenience.
If they keep coming at you after that, then double again
