It's alright Chuck.
We'd be lost without our dear Shonky around. I love his endless running commentary as he travels around and across this great big wide land of ours!
I hope he gets down our way one day so we can enjoy a few war-ries together.........
I think anyone who steps inside DOT'S Banal area should be wearing protection of some sort! (I won't go into what sort!!!)

You'll keep Boss. It's me that needs the protection, remember who's here  thankfully he's down the street for a while, getting some wiring stuff. 10 minutes of peace. All the house is closed in and down ready for the heat of the day, Norman doesn't understand why the place is shut up and shutters down but he will by lunch time...

Yesterday was quite a busy day, Bobelbago came and dropped off Norman's battery (another face to a name) then Aussiegirl & Mike turned up, they slept on the lounge room floor on the mattress from the bus, they have just left to go home.. Now expecting Ozfueler to arrive some time this evening and Greg & Dee when ever they arrive so another few late nights I am guessing.Norman & Christine are out side doing stuff while it's still a wee bit cool but it's heating up already. G is in now looking for food. I actually got up early 7.30AM how's that  .Doggie sitting as well. Time to put the shutters down and close the drapes ready for another muggy yuck day.. :D . C U x

Met another face to a name this morning,, Steve and Lorraine (Ozfueler) and their monster machine with their trailer in tow landed in the yard around the 0030 time this morn.. They were awoken by the resident ram aka Norman wanting to get his chariot past so he could get to the mechanic.. After many mens ahnds and brains got the trailer unhooked and out came this beautifully restored car imagine the shock when they noticed the car had been sliding and scraping along the sides of the trailer leaving huge scratch marks along the side of the car.. Another chinaman had been run over it seems, when is the luck of this couple going to change?? So tomorrow they are hooking back up again and now having to take the car back to the man that built it up to what it is today. It may take a week or so to be repaired so they are coming back here after they get the car delivered to the repairer back in Mt Gambier... Anyway the cool change has finally arrived here after a stinker of a day, looking forward to a bit of cool for a change.. Greg & dee will also be in the yard this Friday and Aussiegirl & Mike will also come back to meet up with this lot as well.. Time for some sleep so goodnight everyone x :D Hope the fires and floods have all bypassed you all if not take care and stay safe & well xx

Maybe some mods to the trailer while it's at the Dottie workshop to put tyre guides in so it can't shift sideways and anchor points each end of the tyre ruts to fit nylon tie down straps.
I how the scatches didn't include dents, they stretch the panel and are a real bugger to remove.

Steve & Lorraine took off around lunch time heading for Mt Gambier with the injured car.. Norman & Christine were the only ones here when they left and Norman said Steve did an emergency patch up for the car 's trip but Steve will have to fill you in on that.. He said he will get some improvements done to the trailer while it is down there.. They may be back here tomorrow evening if all goes well...
