"tanks" here== Try Charlie on some RESCUE REMEDY - about 6 - 10 drops in his water.
Best price is on e-bay and postage is very quick.

I have used this for both Russell and Saracen with good results for both dogs.
Saracen was a 42 kg male , and Russell is a 10 kg male. Their first trip in the motorhome was from Gold Coast to Perth, after a flight on Virgin from Perth to Qld. It was a new experience for both of them.

I got this tip from a previous Forum about a year ago. I ordered the bulk lot 5 x 25ml. which cost a lot less than the single 15 ml bottle from a chemist.

Most Chemists and Pet Stores stock it but expect to pay A LOT MORE than if you buy it on e-bay. I got the bulk 5 x 25 ml bottle deal and the seller is Malvern Natural Health Care,East Malvern, Vic. ph: (03) 9572-3211 www.mnhc.com.au if you want to order it direct.
It's OK for humans too.
Keith.

Not related - don't own the company, and all the remarks you have to add to your post on the other Forum.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Thanks Guys for the information on RR but we have tried it as our daughter is a vet nurse/zoo keeper at the Melbourne Zoo and she said to give it ago but did not work on her dog and has not worked on Charlie. He is good today even sat in the car while we had lunch out was quite happy to just sleep.. I really believe that it was a bad dementia day as he used to have them at home also.. As for being daddy's boy he really is Dot but i think at this stage in his life its OK.. And he is like us we do not like caravan parks but this trip we will be in a couple... So once again everyone thanks for your help...

Cheers Ros.

What is it these days with the business world? No customer care with a stuff you Charlie attitude? Last Wednesday G went to a well known plumbing company for some other well known bits and pieces (J.Guest) Seeing they didn't have all in stock they said the wanted things would be there on Friday. Went to pick the stuff up and guess what, Not there. Told again, they will be in on Monday (today) this time we rang to see if they had arrived.. NO.. (G rang and didn't push the issue) so I rang and asked the person had he checked all the box's that had come in this morning? he said NO so I asked if he would do just that and I would wait for him to call me back... Well he didn't and so I rang him again and asked to give me the name of their carrier and ref # of our ordered parts. He did and said good luck.. I then rang JG dispatch in Sydney and they said our stuff was dispatched last Friday and it should have been at their destination today. I then asked this man to ring the carrier to find out where our stuff was , he agreed and said he would let me know. Soon after I had a call from another JG person telling me that the parts were somewhere "on the road" and would be in Adelaide on the 28th. Told him to change their carrier for a start. But he then told me where we could get the bits we needed to finish off normans van ready for the gas fitter's job tomorrow.. So G then had to take off to town to get the parts. How hard is it to get a few small bits in the mail???? :? :? End of rant.. continue as before

Rant on....
Waited for said mechanic to ph re the bus and it's rediness BS... The shock absorbers that were ordered turned out to be the wrong ones (WTF is new)? so he has to put the old ones back in so we can salvage something out of this weekends arrangements... Then we ask for the bill, haven't done it yet will ring you back in half an hr with amount BS.... (NO CALL) so G heads off to get some $$ out the bank but he rings again and wait for it $2700 thank you only cash or visa, hello G doesn't have a visa and I wasn't going down there and for cash he can only take out xxx a day so he comes back home to get my visa to go to the bank for the $$$$. So far we have spent over $4700 on 3 mechanics and still we are really not much further down the line..except that we now have working air brakes and a few singing tappets and new motor and gearbox oil with some of the new bushes we supplied and you wonder why I am sooooooooooo peed off with "professionals" of today? Now we can't afford go away anyway, what the hell lets do what others do book it up and chase my ass. Census time will see my birth right change substantially.. ;) ;)

Bummer, Dottie.
Us motorhomers seem to be considered bottomless money pits by anyone servicing our chariots.
Does your latest drama mean you can't get to the post-Easter gathering?

We've had similar problems with a Hardly Normal furniture chain Which Shall Remain Nameless.
Ordered dining setting on 2/1/13. Promised delivery mid-Feb.
End of Feb, called salesman. 'Table's here. Chairs in transit. Next week or two.'
Mid-March: 'Chairs are not in transit. Next container from China. Maybe a month or two.'
We blew steam. Went to store & personally tackled Asst Mgr about conflicting stories & slow delivery.
She promised action within 7 days. Three days later: 'All here, ready to deliver.'
Delivered next day. Opened chair box... wrong chairs. Receipt said they were the right ones. They had not ordered what we selected!
Asst Mgr suggested we use them until they receive the right ones. No thanks, tried every chair in store... we selected the only model which accommodated my spinal probs.
Chairs returned. Another trip to store to tear strips off someone... anyone.
Manager located a set of 10 chairs of our choice, in their Sydney warehouse. 'We'll put them on a special truck, rather than our usual courier. They'll be here in a couple of weeks.'
I replied that I could drive to Sydney & collect them personally quicker than that. He took the point.
Correct chairs arrived Thursday. At last. Three days after Mgr found them...

Sometimes, ya just gotta blow steam at someone... especially at incompetent someones.
Try it, Dottie, you'll like it! And you might just get some results...
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Bugger the lot of em. If the bus is drivable, just get out and go. Enjoy the weekend and then worry about the rest. You need a break from the stresses of life.

The verandah awning that we had installed last March and removed last July (due to rust problems) was finally returned last week. Only after some very legally threatening sounding emails were sent. It did me good to let off the steam, but as I did it by email, I had proof of what had been said. Is it time to start sending off a few carefully worded emails to a certain mechanical idiot? Sadly he had you over a barrel with the bus in his hands and you wanting the bus back had to pay the ransom, not a good way to be. We are now in possession of a lovely shiny awning and gee I don't think I can find the mans bank details. Oh dear, it might take me a long while to find out how to pay methinks!
Have a great weekend, my dear and do get out in wide world. It will do you both some good.
Deborah

Well just when you thought the world was right along comes Mr Big head truckie man.. Just through Nhill and watching behind me for the trucks I was travelling just on 95kph and there was a truck having a peep around me on a part of the road that was an overtaking place with a clear run past. He waited until the double lanes to pass so I slowed down so he could get by quicker. Then on the UHF comes, "hey lady in the bus are you on channel?" so I politely replied "yeah mate" he responded with the likes of this,, " The speed limit is 100kph here so get the f off the road you hobos" So with that I replied "Go %^& yourself and while you are at it pull over and have a sleep cuz it's truck drivers like you that give the good ones a bad name". Then came another string of expletives so I just replied "And have a nice day" I then noticed that the next dozen or so trucks gave me a nice wave as they came towards us.. Just wish I had got that fellows number. Am going to get one of those cameras now for sure.. Anyway now stopped outside Keith having a lovely cuppa tea and cake.... Lots of roadworks on the highway... :D :D

1) I think the "speed limit" applies to the upper limit Dot, not the lower limit. The requirement is to drive to the conditions regardless of the posted speed.

2) Get two, one for the front and another peeping out the back. My advice is to pay a bit extra for the HDR that enables number plate reading.

3) Must be lucky as I've had a real good run with the truckies lately. 8-)
Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.
