Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I'm here Keith, just got home from the Adelaide electric vehicle meeting .....

Tonight, they had the two involved in getting the first V2G (vehicle to grid) set up that wasn't an exempt type trial run affair.
The hurdles they had to jump through to get all the boxes ticked and T's crossed, only to have the bloke go on holidays who had to put the final bit in that turned it all into a simple fill in the boxes thing for every licenced sparkie in SA .... but it's all up and running now ..... well, sort of, it bricked the blokes Nissan Leaf because it appears Nissan didn't actually understand what they were doing at there end

A very interesting talk, Sparkie Dave would have loved it, in one sentence I think he managed to string 5 anacronyms together ..... the scary part was, I think I was about one 5 that actually understood what he said, the other 30 something members had their eyes rolling back in their heads by that stage ..... about then, he realised he had lost most of the audience .... so, he then explained what each anacronym spelt out ..... that didn't help in the slightest
Everyone was excited though, a member pensioner now had the first real V2G in Australia actually set up and running ...... quite an achievement ....

Today was Brian's vet check on his eyelid, it has not improved so we made next wed morning he will have it removed and while asleep will have his teeth cleaned. G went back to Telstra about out dam phones and the downloading the cock up with the 000 stuff. G's ph was cut off when it was half way downloading it. The lady at Telstra tried several times to fix it but to no avail so he ended up getting another phone for $300 and all set up. WTF is going on with this rubbish? While he was away I got stuck into cleaning the bus up and it is filthy from all the dust we have had, just about got the bedroom and bog well cleaned but heaps more to do. G got the new mower all put together so guess I get the privilege of being it's first. Going to hit Ikea tomorrow after we drop lemons into RnB See they have hit $2 each now, they were $1 on Monday ? Still waiting for the man to come and give a quote for the driveway area. Deborah hope your roof is fixed by now. Bernie is home and relaxed  Terry is working his belly off after having his eyes jabbed, jd is um ??? David is confused and Tanks is hot ;) Watching Bernie Sanders rip into the "man" and is he getting stuck in . Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NC George x :D

Dot, did Brian happily go to the vets? Good luck with the eye thing. I had to have a cyst cut off an eyelid once. The Newcastle surgeon just cut at it and left an open wound. Of course the cyst returned and then Gp sent me to an eyelid specialist in North Sydney. He cut the whole cyst off and delicately stitched it up. No recurrence of cyst. Takes a special person to do that job and get it right xxxx

The roofers were back and up on the roof at 8A bloody M. I was ready for them and was not happy with the result. They feel that they have stopped it but they have yet to find the reason for the actual water getting in. The gas pipe that goes to the ceiling, now has a fancy collar and extra waterproof piping all around and they had fiddled with more of the insulation sarking stuff. The suggestion is that possibly there is a tile under the solar panels that is cracked, but they can't get under the panels to check on that theory. We won't know until at least Sunday to find out if this work has helped. Rain is predicted for Sunday, so we will wait and see.

They left late and after we had lunch and fiddled around for a bit, we did nothing much and had an afternoon nap.

Today marks our daughter's 50th birthday. She is on a small boat crossing Milsons Sound (NZ) (or is that Milford's Sound? I dunno) with her husband and daughter. We had a good chat with her and they are all having a wonderful holiday. Her photos have been interesting.

night all xxx
