It's not the tree of knowledge under which the Aust Labor Party was formed, that's in the main street of Barcaldine and was poisoned by some half wit so it's dead now.
I think the Dig tree had a waterhole near it but I'll start there, The Dig Tree?

Ah, that looks like the Herbig family tree in the Barossa Valley, near Springton SA. It was "home" for the Herbig family in the 1800's. The tree is over 300 years old with a girth of around 7 metres.
