T1:
Too far north.

Dot:
Too far south.

But you're both about equidistant from the location.

G'night dottie. I'm off too. Aerial day tomorrow. :D

Kulin? The seahorse is actually supposed to represent a Tin horse? This is where the Tin Horse Hwy goes out to Jilakin Rock

YAAAY!!
T1 has finally got it!
I chose the seahorse because, not only was it a great piece of 'scrap-metal art', but also because it was not a dead give-away of something I reckon a fair few of you have seen in passing in some of the mags we commonly buy.
Yes, I gave several hints; about it being a misleading SEAhorse, and later a seaHORSE visible from the HIGHWAY.
Jilakin Rock is where the annual Kulin Raceday is held. The sculptures go 15km from the town to the racetrack turnoff. Many of them are brilliant. Some are in need of maintenance & TLC.

My next clue was to be that, coincidentally, the August Wanderer has a feature article on it.
Fortunately for me, they did not publish a pic of the seahorse. ;)
After that, in desperation, I was going to publish more pix and the co-ordinates!
This is one of the other sculptures. Click on the pic for an enlargement.
Note the expressions on the pair, and the physiology of the one on the right. Obviously a stallion chasing the mare on the left. ;)
Tried to upload other pix, but this server timed out.

Don't like his chances with the tail the mare has  The only was to find that one was via google and the criptic clues, sea horse was useless, but hose near the final guess came up with tin Horse Hwy, which doesn't come up as a search of Google maps, a very trcky one  Now I gotta find a photo I haven't used yet :?
