the Debortilli cellar door in the Hunter valley isn't much more than a wine sales area, the main wine making is done in Grifith, the same with the king Valley vineyards, they don't even have a dellar door there, every thing goes back to Grifith.

Then young Brad should have the next turn as he hinted about Debortilli cellar door and it is in Polkolbin.

Re: Where is this....
Hint: I've just finished one of the best books ever, because it is real, bringing to life and understanding the places I have seen in my travels. Having been to most of the places, made reading this biography by John Bailey of Australia's greatest explorer so much more vivid!
So where this monument (the place discovered just 152 years ago) and what is the significance of the place?

While Stuart is the subject of the biography, I don't believe this monument was for him George. The place has significance for the discovery, but the item pictured celebrates another function that occurred 27 years later.Newcastle George wrote:Is it a statue of John McDouall Stuart?

dawg (that was a veiled hint)

Very Good KB.
That's the place, but what is here and the other name?
