Hi Lesley,Swisslulu wrote:I will ferkle around for a pic. Ray, did you take Girt there? That was a seriously bad road when we went there - our first experience with corrugations but we were fairly green and had not deflated our tyres when we began. Duh!
No, we didn't take Girt into the Scrub. We got the smarts - left Girt in the little CP/Parking Area in the town near the Info Centre, and offloaded Jim for that one. Good thing, too! The corrugations gave us a bit of a hammering, as we had our tyres inflated for town shopping.

It was a great walk though. Gave my newly-pinned hip a good workout!

When you visited the Stirling Ranges, did you do the Bluff Knoll climb? We did. And that was before I knew I'd cracked my left Femur at the hip joint! Heavily depended on my '4WD walking stick' (shooting stick with steel spike tip), but we did it! The sign said 'Allow 3h to 3h 30m for the return trip'... took us 6h 30m!

Regards & God bless,
Ray

Oh, wow, Ray. I am seriously impressed that you did the Bluff Knoll climb. We chickened out. Erich was chatting to a German guy who ran towards the top, got completely soaked, and slowed to a jog towards the summit and then jogged back to the car park. I had forgotten you had a Toad. It is a beautiful spot in WA. Well we are yet to be disappointed with anywhere we have travelled.

Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.
