Just evaded the long arm of the law regarding our towing hitch, conversation goes "is the towing hitch certified" I say "not required in SA", "is the vehicle braked" "not required as meets SA requirements 3 1/2 to 1 weight ratio" policeman says "it's another country here and if you were heading into Perth we would take it further but as you are heading home you can go"
Apparently a motor home with a towed vehicle went around a corner and the hitch broke and the car went into a shop.

Yes, and that little faux pax was due to a so called "smart phone". They are the pits when it comes to typing a response - especially when cut-n-paste is required!Dot wrote:I already said that Brad!!

Back on the puter now, so here is another effort at responding;
Yes Dot, and the reason they are getting away with it is twofold; one, it's a beneficial commercial exercise which is supported by an oganisation with heaps of clout and two, they are NOT in a vehicle. Think about it; if you sit in your happy hour chair complete with blanket all night next to your legally parked empty vehicle, there isn't much they can do. Especially if you speak in a native tongue.Dot wrote:I have a bitch. After watching the local news & seeing stupid fans of the new fruity phone CAMPING out in front of the store ...

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

None of you have very good imaginations or if you do you are not game to say what you really think they look like and so I guess Pro photographer Peter is sort of correct as was Terry. They are dud pics of flames, took 150 pics and these two were amongst them, did nothing different but just thought they were funny.

Dot, I still have a vivid imagination but it only ever seems to get me into trouble these days.Dot wrote:None of you have very good imaginations or if you do you are not game to say what you really think they look like and so I guess Pro photographer Peter is sort of correct as was Terry. So where are the good pics???? And while you are at it, where are the pictures of the moon?? Everyone has moon shots.
