It's SIX degrees here and falling. What is this all about? Last night we added another blanket to the bed. Last winter, the extra blanket stayed in the cupboard all winter!

Have to get my ugly sleep, taking the van for a trip tomorrow, to Tuncurry for a very long weekend with our jayco mob.

Think we are in for a very cold winter, weather certainly is changing, the cold winds have been freezing not good for playing bowls.

Cold here too, but the heaters are on full bore in the van, so we are warm.

Bit colder here, we've had two frosts in the last week and most other mornings have been around 3-4 degrees until the sun peeks over the hill.
As the back wall of the house has several holes and at most only the internal lining seperating the interior from the elements we've had the slow combustion heater going pretty much 24/7, firewood in the form of the demolished 60 year old hardwood framing is readily available though ).
Framing on the new extension is pretty much complete and hopefully the roof will go on in a week or so so then we might get back to being a bit more weatherproof as the walls are closed in.
Still get rain every few days which slows things down and keep the yard all nice and boggy for the workers.

Go back into the OKA Peter might be warmer. Was 14 in the house this morning bbrrrrrrrrrr anyway the sun was out all day and lovely and warm but the evenings are cool to say the least so it is off to bed very soon so Goodnight everyone x
