Sounds like he's prepared to abandon ship.
Just looking for a lift for himself, his little dog and a few personal possessions.

Anyone heading across the paddock at the moment there is a fella stuck at munderabilla both a blown engine in his coaster. As of today he was still looking for help getting himself, his small dog and some personal belonging out, preferably to Melb or somewhere easier to get to Melb from.

Same thing happened to a fellow on Coaster site with a small dog, he phoned Apollo & got a MH. Relocation to Melbourne, $1 a day & fuel.

Be a pity if he's just going to abandon the Coaster out there.

with so many of us heading to/from the CMCA National Rally at Albany there must be somebody can help out here.
I am waiting a call from the bloke to find out more details.
He is at the Munderabilla Roadhouse so only pay phone contact, but the roadhouse lady is passing a message to him to ring me.
He is from Elisabeth SA as far as I know, and he does'nt want to abandon the Coaster if possible.
I WAIT FOR HIS PHONE CALL FOR MORE INFO BEFORE I POST AGAIN.

UPDATE:- midday Monday 28 th September.

I have just had contact with CASEY about the M'billa Coaster breakdown. The owners name is JIM GINBEY.
It appears that there is a loud noise from the top of the motor, which sounds like a valve issue or a cam shaft problem.

Casey has obtained a quote of $1,900 to uplift the coaster from M'Billa to Adelaide, but is waiting to hear if Jim and the small dog can go with the recovery vehicle.
Casey says that Jim has a spare engine in Adelaide and a mechanic mate who can repair the thing when he gets it back home.

If he can't get himself and the small dog on the flatbed truck he will have to thumb a lift somehow.
