Hope your eyes are feeling good tonight Dot. I just watched a microscopic ant wander across my monitor. My eyes are fine (with the coke bottles on that is) but I am not happy with the ant population in this house. They are not giving me a break. I used to swear by oil of cloves, but they are not worried at all by it. bugga

Some time ago I had a problem with ants in the house and MH not touching the Ant Rid drops so I contacted the company and they sent me a different bait formula which dealt with the ants pronto. I was told that ants vary their diet from time to time.

Not floaters Dot, real nasty tiny ants that pack a mean bite. They are so tiny, that you can't feel them moving on you until you feel the nasty bite.
I found some bait things in the supermart, (combat ant rid, ant killing strips) so have put out a double set in my study. Hope to be bite free soon.
George, you are right about the ants in Newy not liking any of the old stuff. I reckon they are immune to the older products, we have used so much of them over time.. Peter I haven't seen the gel by Talon, but will keep an eye out for it.
