Thanks for the rasberries Terry, twas a fresh aroma, but sadly it's time to snuff the ones that are still burning. Enjoy your doggy day Dot,
weatherman suggests that we are expecting a "weather event" of heavy rain . Sounds like the weekend the pasha bulka came to shore in Newcastle, but for many reasons, I find this a bit silly to scare us off like this. We haven't had a drenching for the last week like we had that particular week. The ground is all dry here, so I reckon it will have to be pretty heavy rain to outdo the pasha bulka.

NRMA alert reports that the storm will hit here between 10am Saturday & 11am Sunday.
We were predicted to have rain all week but have only had a few showers so let's hope that the predictions are wrong again.

Margaret & Brian were preparing to load the last lot on the trailers and head off from Lake Illawarra over the week end..... then the severe rain warnings changed their minds, it is raining there now I believe.
The candles are sandlewood fragrance tonight Deborah, gotta be better than burnt thong I guess but it sort of smells like the share houses when I was a tad younger..... but without the magic weed overtones

Enjoy the big day tomorrow Terry. You're right about sandalwood invoking memories, smells like my "treasure chest" that's made of the stuff.
Dot, you musta had a big day doggie sitting, you even sound pooped.
I had a weird day, trying to fit curtains to the van kitchen and bathroom. They look great, but the hooks that we found to hang the curtain wire from don't seem to be strong enough for the job.
I nearly ran to sit in our ark tonight, but the very heavy rain only lasted a couple of minutes. Nothing else has come from the sky....yet.
