OK, thanks Shirley, then it's not our old bus...
That would have been too much of a co-incidence!

Getting the bus ready for the man to take away for the rego check, decided to check out the dunny flush which was intermittent on our last outing, press the button no water, pulled the pump out of the top tank and gave it a couple of taps which has fixed it in the past, we put half an odour be gone tablet in the flush water and when the tablet breaks down sometimes it has not dissolved completely and larger chunks can jam the impeller so the pump does not work, hence the taps anyhow after fiddling with the fuse and cables I got it to work, great put it all back together, not working, so tomorrow I will take all the electrical bits out and check/clean the connections do the same for the micro switches, so once back together I think all will be good, if not $80.00 will get me a new loom and switches,

The previous electrical expert wired everything behind the fridge in green and black cable.... but some had 2 green wires and some 2 black wires :? Wayne patiently cut each green wire to length and crimped a bootlace ferrule on the cable and fitted then to neutral link blocks and ran a 6 B&S cable back to the battery ready to be connected up tomorrow. Many wires just vanished behind panels and reappeared else where, but they would not pull a new wire through, turned out the previous genius had put a knot on the cable so the wire wouldn't come out. Come sun down, no light, water pump, stove, rangehood and the all important TV. Few tests with the multimeter, turns out green was actually the negative wires, black the positive..... some times, swapped wires between the blocks to get things working, the biggest cheer was when the tv and aerial booster started up
Tomorrow more un needed wires come out so we can reduce the wiring vine that climbs up the inside of the cupboard halfway down the bus on the opposite side to the batteries and most of the things powered from there  there must have been a master plan at some stage but it ran off the rails at the first turn I think

When do you expect to be heading to the Elphinstone Gathering Wayne? How did you know there was a problem with your wiring? all seemed to be ok at Gum Bend.
