, just easier to keep the heat where it's needed and out of where it will cause problems..... hopefully.
The easiest aluminium frame work building I've done was using those plastic corner pieces in the 25mm sq tube, drill a small hole and fit a bolt to lock it in and on to the next bit, surprising just how strong yet flexible the whole structure is once completed and no weld fractures in the corner joins
What did you do to your rig today?

These things http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/1218749 ... 107&chn=ps knock into hollow square aluminium tube and once the sides are glued on or pins in the corner joins they make a very robust frame that will flex rather than break the joint. All the cupboard work in the Mazda is built this way thanks to Eddie (Wombat) and his building skills The door frames are made from flyscreen aluminium section with the plastic corners knocked in and a sheet of aluminium multipanel glued on the outside. The massive amount of weight we removed by tearing the original timber frame build out more than made up for the steel and aluminium used in the roof raise. Where the Mazda was originally a little over the allowable 4.5 tonne rego qualifications, it now weighs in under 4 tonne fully stocked ready to travel.supersparky wrote:I'm doing a Pauline here! A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

Thank you. Now I know what you meant. I sort of imagined that you meant something like that.
Cheers
