At this point I invite the younger set to Google the word 'flocking'.

With Dibs assistance we removed the water pump from the Ford Cargo, stripped it down and now need to find parts to repair it. Looks like it might well be the original from 1985 judging by the depth of rust into the water pump shaft. My pressure pack silicon seal I injected in through the drain hole was quite a neat rubber seal, the water just started leaking through the bearing instead  but it got the truck over here so that was all it had to do

I saved what was left, I was quite surprised just how much was left actually
I even asked on the UK Ford Cargo forum (hard to believe that they have their own forum eh ) but so far no reply, so not looking promising. Off to the brg place tomorrow to see what can be bought that will be within sleeving or housing machining size to get a brg and water pump seal but still be able to fit the impeller and pulley. If worst come to worst I'll simply pug up the water pump housing and install electric pumps for the engine and heater, hoping not to have to go down that path though.

We went to the medium size smoke today, Murray Bridge, they had a universal fits all if you modify things water pump bearing and water pump seal. Now just a matter of machining it all to fit and Robert is your father's brother.... so to speak :D Next job is to mount the 2 winches so we can drag the container onto the truck if we can't get a crane to do the job for us.

put in some beautifully painted, steel tool drawers but made them slightly too wide  due to some distorted panels
Now need to find runners narrower than 12.7mm
Or make up some slipper types. Gawd these things are a pain to work on nothing is straight!!!!!
