Byron Bay, in a lovely bushland setting. We can hear the waves crashing and frogs... well doing what frogs do and it don't sound like croaking!

We have the sound of rain on the roof and the smell is just beautiful. I am on the mend I think, throat sore but not like it has been and the headache has eased so happy with that.. Brad & Maree hit the sheets at the first sign of darkness so the rest of us had a game of scrabble Guess who won I am now off to bed to just listen to the rain falling after I take more pills that the Gman will insist I take. Glad you are on the improved list Dot. The smell of rain is maybe just what you need. Clears away the pollens and freshens everything up.
Still in Byron for another day, but we are very disappointed. This trip, we have noticed even more areas where you have to pay to park, the footpaths are full of either drunken louts or coffee swilling yuppies. You really have to watch where you put your feet as you try to cross the footpaths. Probably be a very long time before we will even want to return here.

Packing van up and leaving Byron in the morning, cant get away soon enough. Did all the domestic stuff today, then relaxed. The nights are getting chilly again. Don't like this heading South part of the trip.
