Cheers George, I had been isolating the strings today. Have some corflute sheets,so will use them tomorrow.

I found the use of blankets to be the easiest.

Wwas too windy for the corflute, and the better half wasnt keen on the spare blanket being used, still a lot of pilbara red on our roof. Had an old carpet runner. The first panel I tested was faulty, but I tested 7 others on the off chance. Fixed the looses lead, screwed it all down, and it happened again! Sorted now, I made sure I didnt twist the conduit over on itself this time..

looked at it, its still there where I parked it , seriously we are going on a 10 day safari starting on Sept 10 covering the south coast hinterland of NSW to start with then heading inland checking out state forests and Wombyean cave,s we will be with a group from our Lakelander CMCA chapter, we will be very happy to be back on the road again, this will be our first trip for around 6 months.

Will be spending all day ripping out the old sterio ready for the new techonolgy type ,bluetooth ,gps system ,rear view camera,touch screen ,and all that stuff :D :D :D
