A trip down Macquarie Pass would have you ready for anything Dottie http://www.dangerousroads.org/australia ... -pass.html 12 hairpin bends, every bend is blind and it's steep. Sheer drop one side and I mean straight down, cliff face on the other, at night you can see the headlights at 2 levels above you zigzagging down the hill. 2 hairpin bends require a 3 point turn in a long rigid or a semi and the drop off the edge from the top hairpin would put you over the cliff face and onto the road below a few hundred feet down, no idea where you would end up if you went off the second one. The whole 8km climb is 1st and 2nd gear all the way up in the truck with a container on the back. We was a bit heavy on the last trip here so I'm glad the pass was closed, just in case I didn't get over the 2 hairpins at the top as they go up very steeply in the middle of the turn so no run up is possible.

Anyway, Baileys flavoured candles tonight, that soft sweet butterscotch with a bit of liquor hidden in there some where, so sniff up big Deborah and enjoy

Slow down Dot or the new shorts will have to be stowed away again to wait for Christmas. It is freezing here tonight. We had such strong winds at Stockton, we spent the weekend inside and with no internet. It was still a good friendly weekend, mainly spent in the camp kitchen, but sooo cold. My t-shirts have been packed away again. I cant believe how cold it has become, September Is almost over and it should be getting a lot warmer by now. Baileys candles are still glowing and yes I am sniffing up the fumes, yum.

Up late!! or were you waiting up to get your birthday pressie early??? No internet last night but had fun watching some of the caravanners doing the ritual parking. Tonight we are on the nature strip in a town time to do the dinner dishes and hit the sack so goodnight one and all x Goodnight Mr Russell & Tanks x

Yep up late Dot, my time clock is stuffed up again. The pain killers aren't always working the way they should etc. The bed is getting warmed by the electric blanket, so am about to warm the toes. It is so cold here, meant to be spring, yeah sure, right. Well off to sleep my lovelies,

Same here, an early start in the morning, so heading to bed very soon.
Travel safely Dot, love Nanago and do go up to the biscuit factory in Kingaroy. The best biscuits that we have eaten since I stopped making my own and the workers were an inspiration.
