At least the ground got a watering and the birds enjoyed the rain. The gutters couldn't handle the amount of water and the overflow got seats a tad wet but should be dried out by morning Goodnight everyone x

Hey,
We had a dampish day as well.
Yesterday I was in shorts for the first time since about March... today we had the heating on again!
Our 2x 5000gal & 1x 500gal tanks are full to overflowing from the long wet winter. Don't need any more for a while yet, thanks!
Still, the newly planted roses are now in their first flush, without any watering from us! (Refer to photo comp! )

Better now Deborah?? Our yard guests left this morning Wilbor aka (Rob & Chris along with the ever so cute puppy named Boof ) More faces put to names. Jenny and Mike aka Aussiegirl left yesterday morning and tomorrow morning we are having morning tea with Craig & Cheryl.. Been a busy week for us. All gooder now. Spent the day doing administrivia, filling in blasted stupid forms that ask the same question in several ways to try to see if you told it right the first time. Made a tiny pillow for the grand daughter which she is refusing to put down (aww so cute) so thought, better make her a second one, while I still have the same fabric. So fiddle farted around with the sewing machine most of the afternoon. Time flies when having such fun ( tongue is getting lost deeper in cheek)

I have been a busy girl today, mowed the visitors parking, dug up weeds, 4 loads of washing and doggie sat my friends dog and now I am beat so goodnight everyone x another warm day tomorrow.
