Finally bit the bullet and made the blasted Christmas puddings today. Have never found one in the shops that is as good as the family recipe, so it's a tradition for us. But OMG the weather became so hot and with all of the stove top in full swing, we were living in a tropical sauna here for 8 hours. Finally the storm broke, the winds are getting up a bit now and we had at least 3 spits of rain to cool us down.
