Put a gas strut on the front door for a bit more control in the wind

Moved the bus around and put the burka on the front window.

Hi, all.
To charge the Waeco while driving I set up a lead from the Waeco battery to an Anderson plug in the Terios"s grille, then a lead via more Andersons through to The Doghouse's batteries. The grille Anderson plug will be used to accept solar panels when parked.
FYI I now have an entire slab of Corona almost freezing, and, yes, freezing beer does not affect the taste, and, yes, the ones at the bottom will be solid but the rest will be perfect. This was proved to my satisfaction after frequent samplings. My address? Good luck with that.

Re-fixed the solar blanket which fell off the windscreen in today's heat.

HI, all.
Turned the rig around 180 degrees and headed for the Blue Mountains. Just too damn hot in Mildura. Note SWMBO is quite pleased about the change of plan, not that her opinion counts. Oh no.

Don't ya just hate operator errorsupersparky wrote:Did a oil change and all the filters today. I stuffed up when doing the fuel filter and the line back to the tank drained. It took forever to reprime the line. I finished up have to slightly pressurize the tank to get it to bleed out. It's all good now but I was pi**ed off to the max at around 4.00pm though. Worst part is that I know that it was operator error. Beer O'clock and all is well,

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Yes it is Bruce. NQR 450. The suction line is from the tank, through the filter then into the lift pump ,which is, I think, also the pressure pump.
If I had the right sized filter spanner handy, my error would not have occurred. But it did. Hopefully I will remember beforehand, next time.
