Ray, I reckon that you will have to do exactly what I have just done. Order a new drive motor for the step. You will get change out of $200.

Rapid connect and disconnect may jolt it into working again. Ours has been playing up and that has it sorted for now. Will probably replace the motor eventually..

Ray,
Meanwhile, air-con in the house has decided to commit hara kiri: $1200 to replace motor & fan!

For the extra $, it might be worthwhile fitting a split A/C canister system.

Visited Newcastle George for coffee, after weighing the Iveco [3.160 Tonnes]. Went back with the 5'er on and it weighed [3.480 Tonnes] GCM = 6.640 Tonnes [ just added them together.
BUT scales said GCM = 6.690 tonnes. 50 kg different in weight.
IVECO GCM = 7.995 tonnes. So well under weight.
