Enjoy the car races Dot. It is too stormy looking for us to bother with the tv.

Last night the clouds really dropped a lot of heavy, loud rain and the way they look again tonight, I reckon it will pour down heavily again soon.

I know it is really early for me, but I am turning off communications, just to be sure, to be sure.

Any consolation Dot, we got huge humid here too. Could storm or not tonight, but it is really sticky here.
Walked to the RSL again for dinner, another pokie win. I put a $20 note in and got $30 worth of washing machine coins. That was our chicken parmies paid for.
Car sounds like will be ready to escape on Wednesday, but have to wait for parts to come from Sydney. Don't ask, don't understand the techy talk, just something about the harmonic balancer.
Very early for moi, but no tv, so going back to the book.

Don't worry too much Dot, bed is more comfy than sitting at the table with a laptop trying to type.
Another hot one here, while we wait for car parts to be delivered to Toyota.... tomorrow hopefully.

Yep, Dot, you beat me ......to bed that is.
We ransomed the car before noon today. Had a drive around Gilgandra, just to see what we had missed out on.
Then we choofed off, up the road to Cobar and bloody hot it is here too. I think we are expecting to encounter some heat this trip. Hopefully we will make it to Whitecliffs tomorrow. Just for something new.
I definitely need some ugly sleep, so good night now, so goodnight you lot. xxx

You will love this Dot. We had such a windy night at Cobar that nobody got any sleep. Bloody motor homers and their awnings and dogs.
We are now at White Cliffs and again it's quite windy, but we reckon we will sleep well tonight. The caravan park here is quite rustic, very roomy and only $20 a night. I want to visit a few opal places and jewellery manufacturers (for inspiration ) so we are here for at least 2 nights. No tv reception, and Telstra is the only phone available. Thankfully my computer wifi is Telstra, so at least I can talk with you lot.
Car went well today and I am taking that book to bed.
