The uni's may need replacing as well Dot I cant see any grease ?

Dot can you get a photo of the tail shaft?
How long and is it a flange each end?
G could drop that out in half an hour or so with help from Pete!!
Jerry could turn up a pilot shaft for you so it'll slip right back in again.
If it's been slipping for a while it's probably not worth trying adjustment.
Bernie I think that uni is just the gear shift linkage but it still needs grease!

That's an easy job.

It's easier to make a cradle and hang from the floor and slip backwards.

6-8 hours to do the hole lot.

Packed the bus ready for tomorrows departure .
fresh water full 250lts, grey water tank empty 200lts, dunny empty .
Ran the diesel heater for 20min...... might get cold .
Fixed the sliding shower screen as well .

G put the new ebay inverter in and tested it so ok for now.
Bus going to the mechanic after Easter, sick of it..:)
