Bernie .
Just a 240V fan heater for short bursts when there is sufficient solar and the batteries are topped up. Got plenty of blankets tho.

Got the last hydraulic leveling leg in, fitted up nice too i reckon.

I picked spots to bolt them to the chassis that are all double thickness, in each case right beside the spring hangers.
So 12mm thick steel to drill. I have to say I'm very impressed with my new Makita brushless drill too, all 8 12.5mm holes drilled without a change of battery - pretty impressive.

Also got the power pack for the legs positioned. Not finished yet, but in place at least.

So now it's just hoses and wiring.
That might have to wait a little while though, got sparkies coming to do a days work tomorrow.
And then some more mechanical work and start rewiring as well.

Cheers,

nice legs EL Gringo, where did you get them?
I am mid-argument about a set from chinese manufacture, the initial quote was good, now, with a couple of modifications, not so good (oh, we all know the story  ) -but I need multi-stage on the fronts due to lack of space.

These are Bigfoot Legs, made in the US.
I got them from their distributer Titan Trailer Brakes in Brisbane.

They don't have any multi stage legs that I am aware of though.
Maybe William (busman) can help you a bit, he did his own system.

Mine are the biggest they have 24"
I have them mounted approx 300mm above ground, so that give me another 300mm lift.

I remember the expression being used. I seem to recall that "It's Sydney or the Bush" was used in the same manner as "It's all or nothing".

I just used straight cylinders, way cheaper, 2 1/2 inch as I recall, 1 will lift the whole front of VP off the ground.
The rear ones I do not use to lift off ground, way too much weight in the rear of VP
In fact hardly ever use them, most sites are pretty level and just another thing to worry about if you have to vacate quickly.
Make sure you have some sort of warning, even a red towel on the seat, or you will forget you have one down one day !

How come you keep placing "Sydney" in brackets? What is Sydney?
Sydney Has It Together, although its more a reflection of the colour scheme than anything else. Got the dometic going on the propane yesterday. Its the original fitting, so happy with that.
Its a funny sort of holiday Bruce...our friend with the RV park is well understaffed, and we have been helping out, so its been an interesting time..
