Terry, thank you. That made for some interesting bed time reading. I guess a lot depends on how many solar panels and batteries are involved in the set up and for us, it also depends on how many days that we are actually at home using any power at all. Obviously there are more questions to be asked than answers that will be given. Same with any new tech, I reckon. The sellers of the system have some good ideas, but the realities may be more important to discover. The system that we are looking at involves us being totally free from buying electricity, so extra batteries and a lot more solar panels are going to be needed. Will let you know about our power station, if we go ahead.
Dot you went off to slumber early, you feeling ok?
Van is packed and we are off to wet n muddy Forster for the weekend. Should have interweb, but you never really do know at that place.
So I am going to try to sleep, whilst tossing all of Terry the electric wizard's forum ideas around.
So it's goodnight from me xxx

Enjoy the bug smoke Dot. Hope you get the right answers to whatever you are asking.
Will try to put up some pics on facebook next week Dot, just for you!
It is just pouring down rain here in Forster and we are parked in a huge mudbath. Obviusly, we are hoping for some sunlight in the morning.
Tired from all the travels, so goodnight one and all xxx

Hey Goinbush, did you pick up any hangers on from that Elizabeth Motel?
Pretty good trip in and out of the city today, not to bad at all for a long weekend. Got ok news from GP re latest tests, she is happy with the thyroid levels and also the kidney function test, now have to get the tongue thing sorted, the dermatologist gave me some cream to try and she will see me in 3 weeks before we head off. No appointments for 7 weeks but she made one for me in her lunch break, now that is a nice specialist. So now looking forward to Tuesday and the final court appearance of the rock spider when IT hears his time to serve then we shall be closer to getting going:) Time to say goodnight to everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good to see that you are healthy Dot....well you know what I mean.
Rain is falling down, in a very steady drip. This marks ten years since the big pasha bulka (huge oil tanker) grounding in Newcastle harbour. All of Newcastle and Lake Mac were flooded, the dragons included. So now that the rain is so heavy and dense here, it is impossible not to remember the floods that we had back then. It doesn't seem anywhere near as intense as it was then, but gee it sure is very wet here. Some of our mates have so much water in the annex areas, that the have scrounged around town for spare pallets and laid down lovely patios, just to get out of their vans safely. Thankfully we are not quite so wet, but we do need some sunshine to come visit soon! I think I just jinxed us, I am now hearing thunder, yet again.
Oh well, more wellies competitions tomorrow. Who will wear the most glamorous wellies? Wont be me. So far I have succeeded to keep warm n dry with my winter, fur lined croc, but tomorrow the wellies will have to come out. Mine are kids ones, I don't fit real shoes. So they are yellow with green tree frogs jumping all over. They just wont compete with some of the glamorpuss numbers that came out today!
Time to thaw out, so sleep well everyone,
nighty night xxx
