Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Gee Chuckles, getting old is a bitch isn't it? Thinking of ya mate. Hope the new chair and mattress give you some better rests.

Jon and Terry, just a thought on the electricity mob reposit, I have been told on the qt, that all of their special boxes have been recalled with faulty metres. I thought the guy was being a bit slow with his quote, now I think I understand. Asked the company who installed the original system for a quote today, will see what comes back from them. Trying not to rush into anything, after all I don't think this will be a cheap exercise.

Endocrinologist just did all my diabetic tests and told me to get back on the road. The best readings that I have had for a long time, so obviously the travel is the cause. :D :o ;) ;)

Bed time here, so it's so long to the shortest day and tomorrow will be a little longer. Hooray, roll on Summer.
Goodnight all xxx

Dot, you are making me feel like the spray cans will have to come out into our garden soon too. Anyone have the best killer for stink bugs? I heard a radio garden program on the subject and a caller rang to say that he had great success with the black tins of fly spray from junk shops.. the radio people couldn't get him off fast enough. They tried to back peddle and tell us that it wasn't a good idea to use products that are not specific for gardens etc, but they have their brands to flog, so I don't really know if I am game to try to use the fly spray or not, but if it's safe to use in the house???
Another day of a visiting plumber for the solar hot water, maybe this time it will work? As the problems only happen when we have low solar days, we will have to wait now for the same situations to develop. Too technical for this hour.

I am getting very sleepy, so off to that warm bed.
Nighty night xxx

Dot, our neighbours keep such a good watch on our joint that they ring us when the grass looks unloved. Only once it gets to be untidy, do we arrange for various friends, neighbours etc to do their community service. We found that having a person booked made us feel good, his pocket was full and he mowed the joint the weekend before we returned after 3 long summer months away. That one time is all that he mowed, so now we only ask people once we know that it needs doing. I hope this helps you.

Getting closer till IT feels the crunch xxx

Busy shopping for food day today. Someone should remind me to never shop on a Friday, bedlam it was. Not the way I like to shop, but job's done now. Won't need to shop again for a long while. Have I told you that I hate grocery shopping? What a waste of time.

Off to a warm bed, so nighty night one and all xxx

No neighbours like yours Deborah :( had "friends" look after the place on 2 occasions and that was a bad choice so this time we shall be very particular. Anyway I am knackered after a great afternoon with Jenny and Mike, I think laughing takes it out of you so I am going to say goodnight everyone x :) Goodnight Homeless x :)

Glad that you have sorted the mowing dilemma Dot. Soon you will up up and away.... :D

Family arrived tonight for dinner and the rest of em are coming for lunch tomorrow. Celebrating a couple of the sprogs birthdays, so it's a bit noisy/busy here. The one who is here tonight took a long time to settle into sleep, but the lair is finally peaceful and I am relaxing at last. She is the one who we bought a lovely "new" toy kitchen for when we last went to Forster. We brought it home on the bed in the van. She was very excited to
see it when she arrived, so hasn't stopped "cooking" for us . It is lovely having her visit, but exhausting having a three year old in the house again.

It's sleep time again, so I will say my farewells,
Goodnight one and all xxx
Deborah
