Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Welcome back Lesley,
Today we had a slight derailment.
We saw a tyre pass us and land across the road in a farmers field. Yes, it was off our van. Tyre retrieved, damages assessed (serious, was the mechanical decision) so NRMA were called at 11am. Long story short, took several hours to finally visit the car, towy called . Towy arrived at 3.30 and asked for a ruler to measure the van. After much fiddle faddling, he declared our van is too big for his truck. I spat the dummy and arranged another company to do the towing. NRMA will foot the bill. I then had to tell the nrma that we needed accommodation for the night. I think they expected us to sleep in our van on a tow truck! They had NFI, so I asked could I arrange it thanks. Called sister who occasionally lives in Singleton where we are, and asked which is the dearest motel in town? The nrma then had to arrange it after I told her which one and that I must have no steps. The only ones left were apartments which cost $200 per night. So we are not slumming it tonight. Hopefully the van can be fixed tomorrow or the nrma will be paying for another night.
Hopefully, we will be on our way tomorrow, but our good news was the number of people who actually stopped to ask if they could help. It got to 20 cars and we stopped counting. They ranged from a man on a tiny motor bike to a lady in an audi. Farmer whose field we were opposite, came in and out his driveway several times, stared at us and didn't even offer the use of his loo (bit sad there, but we managed on our own devices).
So we made it as far as Singleton. Don't know where it will be tomorrow, hopefully not still here.
Bloody chinamen are everywhere hey? At least you are both ok . Make the most of the luxury accommodation, like me I am using the power like there was no tomorrow. Even washing the washing Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Norman x
