Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Gee Terry, it's good to see that you have an electric blanket to keep warm. I better not tell you that here at Rolleston (Qld) it is so hot that I am sleeping without the winter blankets now.

Dot, still out of interweb action...it is rather QT here.

Had a bit of a drag down the mountains from Roma to Rolleston. The road hasn't improved much since we last came this way. It really is a rock n roll sort of road, but we is here alright.

Off to a long snooze before we head up the road to Emerald tomorrow, so nighty night . xxx

Emerald is so warm, that the washing that was done at 2pm was almost dry when we closed up the van tonight.

Isn't Tanks so lovely to invite a stranger to share his Weiss bars and XXXX?

Tried to stay in the showgrounds here, only to find that they are closed for the weekend. So had to pay a fiver more each night to stay in the caravan park. All is not lost, we have a lovely site and the neighbours all seem friendly enough for a few nights.

That's it for me, I'm stuffed
so goodnight one and all xxx

That's a great thought Bob. Thanks for the suggestion. We are still reliant on power, so it had to be the caravan park, but it's all good. We have a large site all to ourselves. There are empty sites all round us tonight and it's really a nice park.
Loving the weather up here. 28degrees and throwing off the winter bedding was very therapeutic.

Hope Wycliffe Wells is fun for you Dot,

Sleep well out there,
goodnight from me xxx

Good to see you back in form Dot. Travel well xxx

Bob, might be a tad difficult as we have appointments that have to be dealt with tomorrow and then on Tuesday we are shifting base to Anakie for the big Gemfest. Maybe catch you at Gemfest? We have a stall in the main tent for the weekend (Thursday till Sunday). I can promise that they have planned for a concert on Sunday with Sarah Storer performing, so we will get some good entertainment, As well as gem stuff, and general marketty stuff, they do a great country music weekend.

We had some rain and storms today, not the way that it's meant to be here. Anyway, we stayed dry and had some quiet time before embarking on our next bits of the adventure.
So it's a goodnight from me xxx

Well remembered Janelle.
The glass is all packed and ready for action. As Lightning Ridge was such a downer this year, we are just hoping to cover costs at Gemfest this week. Any more and we will be ecstatic.

Did all our meeting stuff today and met a lovely lady who sells antiques in Emerald. She is doing a motza in fur sales. Who would have thought that in Emerald, CQ, , furs would be a big seller?

Tomorrow we head off up the road to Anakie to get ready to set up our wares for Gemfest early Wednesday, then trading starts on Thursday. So if I don't get back here for a while, it is only a one horse town with lousy connections. Rockhampton next Monday.

If any of you are in the area and come to visit gemfest, do come and visit the d.d.dragon stall in the big tent and introduce yourself to me.

Goodnight everyone xxx
Deborah
