Hey here's one for you Dot. We're in Gin Gin showgrounds. There is so much space here and it's away from the highway, so peace reigns supreme. The people with puppies are out on the main arena giving them a game of catch and nobody is stressing. Plenty of power and water for $20 per night, so no bloody generators to shatter the tranquillity. Damn, I can just hear a truck changing down through his gears, but it's a rare sound here, so all is still good.

After a long day driving down the hill, we are tired, so it's good night from me xxx

Maryborough showgrounds turned us out today. They are having a school kids horsey gymkhana so no camping by the general public....bugga.

Back in a caravan park , with no bells or whistles. Just a large drive through site and lots of space around us. So not too bad, just a difference from $20 at the showy to $34 here. So we will use all their power and washing machines in the AM, just to get our moneys worth!


All this moving house has tuckered me out too, so off to get some ugly sleep.

Time to do the last minute bits and bobs before hitting the sheets after the traumatic day of lizard killing. Beautiful cool breeze tonight, just right for sleeping soundly, The crickets are also singing along. Dot, I even ran the ac for a couple of hours when we went out for a while. Not wasting the chance to use their power here.
We had a lovely lunch in a pub today. It was all you can eat for $10 each. The food was just good old fashioned home cooking with fresh veggies n desert too. There was enough healthy food to keep even my dietition happy. The food was much more than we expected for the price, but it was clean and fresh. So happy tonight, we had a piece of toast with sliced fresh tomato for tea.
