Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Not really Steve, just share the crazy things that I get involved in. You all seem to do a lot of other stuff that I don't do, like pay taxes. So it works out pretty equal in the end.

A quiet day in the lair was spent today. Visited the barber and did the grocery shopping, nothing really exciting at all......... until I looked at facebook after dinner. On a glass making page, I found a new ( to me) supplier of dichroic glass mentioned, and offering a 20% discount on first orders. Ooops, there went all of this years profits and probably half of next years as well. I don't know how long it will take to come from yankie land, but it looks like such different glass to what I have been getting lately. The suspense will kill me. Happy Christmas to me!

Be thinking of you tomorrow Dot. Hope you get the right treatment to sort out the issue asap.

sleep well you hard w***ing peoples, good night xxx
I know what you mean using the asterisks, Deborah. But sometimes it doesn't quite work out how you mean it!

How did you go with the storm Bernie? Was wild here. Around 16mm in 30 mins and some minor damage.

Oh dear, you lot are incredible. I give you permission to read my words that have tiny asterisks in them to mean anything that you want. I just don't wish to be asked to stop swearing here! ;) ;) ;)

Lots of luck on Thursday arvo Dot. Will be thinking of you. It does sound quite scary really, so hang in there mate. :o :o :o

I spent half of last night and most of today, trying to complete part of a course in making moulds for glass work. After the first lesson finished running live, at 3AM, I gave up. It was repeated today at noon so I took the time to watch the first lesson again and then the second lesson. I had to stop to answer the phone, turned the lesson off and when I returned, the whole thing had to be watched from the very beginning again. So I gave up (again). The science that is involved is really fascinating to me, but the computer lessons are going to drive me crazy. There are 9 lessons in full, but they show them three at a time and that is just overload and time consuming. I could do an hour here and there but not a five hour stretch each day for 3 days in a row and still do all the usual things that have to be done. I don't think that I will stay up for the 2Am start tonight. I am really stuffed, so off to bed now.
Goodnight everyone xxx

There is a program called "Replay Media Catcher" which is excellent at recording these pesky streamed broadcasts. Unfortunately, it isn't free and I don't think it has a trial period... but it has worked on everything I've tried it on.

Thanks for the info Barboots. I will manage this one event ok, but handy to know about.
I watched for 5hours today and it was really interesting. The rest of the course I will leave until we are home for a while.
Thinking of ya Dottie, no need to talk I understand xxx ;) ;)
Van is all packed and we are off for a jayco weekend. Muchus mischioufus and you can almost set your weather clock onto rain for it! We are heading to Old Bar in the morning, so hope to settle before any winds blow up.
Needing to get some sleep after all that activity,
so good night all n sundry xxx

Dot, you are still very quiet, so I'll tork for ya huh? Thinkin of ya, anyways. xxxxxx

We dragged the van all the way to almost Taree and turned off to Old Bar, where it's a very windy place. The noise of the waves crashing has gone passed the comforting sound of gentle waves, it's almost menacingly loud. When we arrived around 3pm, the early arrivers were already sharing happy hour. Have I told you that this mob are very sociable? Once the fast set up was complete, we joined the group for lots of banter and catch ups with some who have been working on doing their big laps and returned with all the news of their adventures.

I read with no surprise that CMC* have declined from allowing caravaners to have full voting powers....again. I wonder why they keep trying? it is a motorhome club not a caravan club.... just saying.
That's it for me, I am stuffed from all this travelling, so good night one and all xxx
