I reckon after being up so late last night, young Dot will be asleep already xxx
We spent 5 hours setting up our stall today. A lot of it was catching up with other stall holders, but mostly just trying to fit all our stuff into the allocated space. Never set up the same twice, could be a doorway close by or a corner table or you never really can predict what the variables will be. We have been on the outside edges of the hall in past years here, so this year we are suddenly in a middle table and it really feels weird. Sales (or lack thereof) will be the real teller.
I am stuffed so off to slumber for moi,
sleep well you lot, goodnight xxx

Dot, that hand aint going nowhere fast. Take it easy and try to get some quality sleep xxx
Well, we had a very slow day (as we predicted) but the few sales that we did were really good ones. So the total at the end of the day was pretty good compared to our usual numbers here. Sunday is usually a very slow day, so we will wait n see. Only need a couple of spending customers and we will have a record for Armidale. Amazing isn't it? We just cannot predict how sales will go and every year the tally at the end of the day has been totally different. A few less pieces to pack tomorrow, hopefully.
I need some serious ugly sleep, so goodnight from me xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Went into Mt Gambier to do :roll over the op shops, rather disappointed with the two we did get to, Vinnies and Lifeline, boy do they know how to charge like wounded bulls, cheaper to buy new stuff, they were even selling small jam jars for $2 ea
Right now there is a monster thunder and lightening show happening along with some drops of rain so hoping it gets heavier and for a good length of time. Brian the brave has gone into hiding
I even got up early today ie 0830hrs
so time to say goodnight everyone x
and goodnight Mr Googlebot x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good to see you going out n about Dot. For some weird reason, we usually find Vinnies n Sallies are the cheapest. Some of them have special people who forget that what costs them nothing, should not cost the customers more than it's worth, as a used item. Sometimes I wonder how much of their pocket money is coming from my purchase. Just saying .....
Happy snoozing Dot
Todays sales were epic, a whole $20 for the day. The joke is that the weekend total for this year is now the same as the last 2 years tallies combined. So we did a lot better than we sort of were expecting, but not enough to sell the house and stay on the road, just yet.
All this selling is so very tiring, so off to slumber again,
goodnight one and all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
"tanks" here Dot,
All quiet at "The Bunker". My guest is departing sometime this week to return to WA via the bottom end.
Mr.Russell and myself will miss her company gut she has to get back on the track to WA. She may phone you when she gets to SA in April sometime.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
here we are in one of our favourite gravel pits just nth of Keith, thought we would be on our own but Oh no, while taking Brian for a walk a posh MH (paradise) stops to ask me if I was staying here, is it safe and Oh I must make sure it is level as he didn't want to put the levellers down WTF?? Did he think I would protect him??
Then a while later in came another MH and they tucked in as well?? Anyway the sound of the big trucks passing by is very relaxing. Shall be home tomorrow and hoping that maybe HTFFBO may have a roast dinner for tea
