Back into work again Deborah, what are you going to be doing? Lovely weather still around so your lair may get a tad warm. We are going out for a drive tomorrow just to get out of the house so time to hit the sack. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Mr Sniffy x

Goodnight everyone x and so this summer weather continues we went for a nice drive today, ended up in Mannum and had to call in to see Brian (who was snoozing on the deck) then around the corner and had a coffee with Wendy & Bruce then home. Twas a nice day away from everything. Goodnight Wayno x

Guess I will be mainly playing in the shed for a while Dot. xxx The stock for the stall is now up to date,so I can do some experimental stuff now. At an op shop somewhere, we found jars of glass balls. I think for terrariums. Anyway, I am playing with some ideas of melting them down to make tiny people shapes and weird stuff...watch this space. It may or may not work, but I will give it a go.

We had some more spattery raindrops today. So I had an indoor morning, filling in forms for gem shows for the rest of the year. Then I planted out some bulbs for spring. Dutch iris, blue bells and black pearl lilies will feature in the front garden of the lair. That is assuming that they dont go haywire like our dahlias have. They had died down before we left home 4 weeks ago and should not come back up until next Christmas. But of course, the dahlias are all back blooming. They look lovely, but it's not their time now. This hot weather is playing havoc with the bulbs and giving us a second flowering is just weird.
All this being a home person is very tiring, so off to get some ugly sleep,

It's before midnight and I have come back before Miss Dot. Wonders will never cease to amaze. xxx

I am back in the shed today. I used a stack of playdough and biscuit cutters that came from an op shop on our travels today. I invested a huge $2 on the big box of cutters. So today I used them to make moulds out of pottery clay, to use with the glass beads that I bought. It will be at least a week before I can give the moulds their first firing, so it's a slow process. I reckon by the time they have been fired, I may have unearthed the jars of glass beads in the truck. It's amazing how deep one has to dig to find the opshop spoils of any trip. They do get sort of squashed down under stuff in the prado.

Anyway, I made elephants, dolphins, flowers, cats, leaves and weird n wonderful shapes. Time will tell if this experimental stuff works out.

Oh Dot, xxx, I didn't get to play today, now I am suffering withdrawal symptoms.

We had a vacuum cleaner malfunction, so had to spend the day researching where to get it fixed and then off to find the nice man. We finally found his workshop and he did a great job mending our stick cleaner, but the big dysun is another worry. He will get the parts and have it ready next week. What a waste of a shed day. Anyways, we are back in the lair and hopefully, tomorrow will get back to the shed.

Good night to all had a great day today with the top to bottom house cleaning nearly finished. Back Monday to finish but the place is looking good.

Tomorrow is a day off for ourselfes sleep in and enjoy. Hope everyone sleeps well. Robert

I missed last nights goodnight cuz I was knackered. Been a weird couple of days, the weather has been fantastic (rather warm) have a few baby lizards around the place a couple in different places and different sizes so we shall be on our toes when we look after our friends little foxy x jr as she loves mooching for anything that moves..
