Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Had to take precautions today and move out my sister's van and our van from danger's way. 7AM tomorrow the tree loppers will be next door. This is a good thing. I usually hate to see gums go, but they are so dangerous and our jayco is in the falling line, so we are glad to have averted this disaster. I am suspecting one of the gums has been poisoned by a nasty neighbour, trying to improve her view. It looks half dead and is constantly dropping big branches. They make no difference to our view, just our stress levels whenever a big breeze blows up. So all is well in the lair,

Well that was a non event. We had the vans all sorted and woke up at 7AM to hear a chainsaw groan for a few minutes and then silence erupted. Later we were informed that the crane broke down. We will do it all again on Tuesday...maybe.

So it's been a tranquil lair today.

Someone turned the snow clouds on and aimed them at us! Blimey it's freezing here and the wind is going right through us with icicles stabbing away.

Convinced the Gman to let me say goodnight but he went to sleep and I checked the mail, googled a few things and had a look at fb then I went for a little walk out to the front door to have a hug from another dear friend that has been doing it very tough, she was on her way home from hosp and so we had a quick hug. The Gman woke up so I did admit I had been googling a bit so now he is telling me to say goodnight. Goodnight everyone x goodnight Deborah x

It's so cold and violently windy here, that the interweb is playing up something fierce. One moment I am here and not the next. Not really impressed with telstra, but it is also happening with his optus connection on his ipad thingy, so it must be something seriously wrong with them both...not happy Jan.

Had an indoors day again today, because of high freezing winds. Anyway, that got the mending pile down, so a good day here too. Our neighbour texted to say the trees will be removed tomorrow, so we did the caravan on street dance again. Our caravan is still in the driveway attached to the car ready to go if necessary. If the crane driver is as skilled as we have seen him to be, there will be no worries. we have watched this guy at work a few times and it's almost like watching ballet, he is so carefully under control.
